Begin with a three night hotel stay in London, England before traveling the high-speed, EuroStar train to Amsterdam where you board the 5-star Scenic Space-Ship for seven nights. The amenities are endless. Select up to five onboard dining options, from casual to fine dining. Complimentary beverages all day while onboard. Butler service for all guests onboard. Complimentary use of e-bikes – electronically assisted. All tipping and gratuities are included. Arrive in London on Day two. Upon arrival, a representative of Mayflower Cruises & Tours will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.  The remainder of the day is at leisure. Day three take in the sights on a guided tour. Tonight, enjoy a welcome reception.  Day six join a knowledgeable local for a guided tour of Rotterdam. Rotterdam is known as the architectural capital of the Netherlands. See such sights as the Erasmus Bridge and the Beeldenroute Westersingel, displaying various works of art by renowned local artists. Or, you could choose to explore beautiful Delft before dropping into a pottery factory and museum to discover more about the world-famous Delft Blue Pottery. Alternatively, discover picturesque Kinderdijk, famous for its historic windmills. You can also opt to explore Gouda, a town synonymous with cheese. Visit its local cheese market, which dates back centuries! Day seven visit the Delta works, including the famous Storm Surge Barrier, an incredible feat of modern engineering, purposely built to protect the flooding Delta Plain. Alternatively, you can choose to explore the charming village of Veere, located on a series of regional dykes, with a history that extends all the way back to the 15th century. Or, for something more active, embark on an enjoyable guided cycling tour of Veere and its surroundings. Discover the town square with its impressive Town Hall, cycle past the town’s beautiful harbor, and see the picturesque windmill located on the outskirts. Day eight a local expert guides you through Ghent, one of Belgium’s most historic cities with its many medieval buildings and charming canals or walk the cobbled streets of Bruges on a guided tour of this fairytale city. Alternatively, explore Antwerp, Belgium’s second city, renowned as the diamond capital of the world. Or, choose to learn about the life of famous Flemish painter Peter Paul Rubens during a guided tour in Antwerp. Visit his former residence and the cathedral that is now home to some of his most important work. Day nine explore the Arnhem Airborne Museum and learn about the Battle of Arnhem that took place in September 1944. Alternatively, visit the Netherlands Open Air Museum and discover historic houses, farms and windmills. Or, if you’re feeling more active, join a cycling tour and pedal through the pretty surroundings. Day ten travel from Hoorn to the sleepy fishing village of Volendam. Alternatively, for a different perspective you can choose to explore Hoorn by bike, a great village for cycling. Day eleven back in Amsterdam, visit Keukenhof Gardens, complete with over seven million flowering bulbs, and discover why it is called “The Garden of Europe”.
