Register in advance to receive course information from the motorcycle director before the course begins. Arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Students are strongly encouraged to bring a DOT-approved ¾ or full-face helmet and gloves. Helmets are provided for range sessions. A parent or legal guardian with valid ID must accompany a minor (15½–17 years old) to the first class to complete paperwork. No exceptions! Your CMSP Motorcycle Training Course requires you to download and read the Student Handbook from the link provided in the confirmation email. You do not need to print or bring your eBook to class.
On the days you ride, you must wear heavy jeans, a long-sleeve shirt that covers the wrists, eye protection (such as sunglasses, eyeglasses, or a helmet visor), full-finger leather gloves, and heavy boots that cover the ankle (hiking, riding, or work boots). View the Motorcycle and Scooter Training page at https://www.mjc.edu/instruction/commed/motorcycle.php for general information. Contact the MJC Community Lifelong Learning office at (209) 575-6063 if you have any questions. The course is subject to cancellation due to low enrollment.
