ClassGraphic The California Vehicle Dealer Pre-License Education Program is a comprehensive 6-hour course designed to prepare prospective dealers for licensure in the state of California. This course fulfills the mandatory educational requirement established by the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for applicants seeking an original auto dealer license (retail or wholesale).

This course provides detailed instruction on California Vehicle Code laws, dealer operational requirements, and ethical business practices necessary to successfully operate a licensed dealership (retail or wholesale). Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive a certificate required to take the DMV dealer license examination.
