ClassGraphic You will learn the language used to describe components and processes of the human body, medical procedures, diseases, disorders and pharmacology while developing a fundamental knowledge of the medical terminology necessary for a career in any healthcare setting.

The instructional methods used include reading assignments, practice exercises, interactive video/audio lectures, chapter review quizzes, and final course exam. Apart from reading and study time, this course includes approximately 60 clock hours of contact work. This course is recommended for anyone who is preparing for a career in medical coding and strongly recommended for anyone who is preparing for AAPC’s CPC Certification Exam. Taught by AAPC Certified Instructor, Cindy Carney.
