Welcome to Modesto Junior College

Community Education

Dear MJC Community Education Students,
MJC Administration received an update from the California Department of Health regarding public gatherings. Although educational settings are omitted from their guidelines, college leadership is acting out of an abundance of caution.  MJC regular classes are moving to remote learning options to lessen the number of people in contact with each other in an attempt to slow the spread of the virus.

At this time college offices will close as of March 23, thru April 3, 2020; staff will be working remotely.  This plan is effective through the April 3, 2020 at which time campus leadership will revisit updated guidelines.
Non-traditional class formats, including MICL, Community Education, Adult Education, etc. are being cancelled or moved to a non face-to-face format. Full refunds will be issued for classes that have not yet started. Students enrolled in classes that are in progress will have the option to consider class make-up dates, partial refunds or full refunds if applicable.
We encourage you to visit the following link for daily updates on the college and public information on Coronavirus developments in our County.
At this time college offices are closed but staff will be working remotely during normal office hours. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We can be reached at or 209-575-6063 and leave a voice message.
